Fishtery LFS Return Policy

 We strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where a return or exchange is necessary. Please review our return policy outlined below:

1. Returns and Exchanges Eligibility

   – Live Fish: Due to the delicate nature of live fish and their specific requirements, we do not accept returns. We are committed to providing healthy fish to our customers, and once a fish leaves our store, we cannot guarantee its well-being. Therefore we cannot resell a fish returned without first investing time and space to confirm its health and well-being, before resale. 

   – Non-Live Merchandise: Non-live merchandise such as aquarium supplies, equipment, and accessories are eligible for return or exchange within 21 days of the original purchase date, provided they are unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Damaged or Defective Items

   – If you receive damaged or defective non-live merchandise, please contact us immediately to arrange for a replacement or refund.

   – In the case of damaged or defective items, we may request photographic evidence to assess the issue and expedite the resolution process. Notify us within 48 hours of purchase helps expedite the resolution process.

3. Refunds

   – Refunds for eligible returns will be issued in the original form of payment.

   – Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account. 

   – To initiate a return or exchange for non-live merchandise, please call our customer service number at (540) 259-3613 or email info@fisdhterylfs.com. Our team will provide you with further instructions on how to proceed.

– In certain cases, store credit may be issued in lieu of a refund for eligible returns.

4. Exceptions

   – Perishable Items: Apart from live pets, any perishable items such as live plants or frozen fish food are not eligible for return or exchange.

   – Clearance or Final Sale Items: Clearance or final sale items are sold as-is and are not eligible for return or exchange.

5. Policy Modifications

   – Fishtery LFS reserves the right to modify or update this return policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or in-store.
